School Life (out-of-class activity, relationships with classmates)

I’d like to tell you a few words about my school. I study at school with the advanced learning of English.  It’s one of the oldest schools in Zaporizhzhia & one of the first in Ukraine of such kind.  No doubt it has a rich history and traditions which we carefully keep up.

One of the best & most beautiful traditions is performing the Shakespeare’s memorial parties which are well-known in the city. We invite many guests and our pupils are looking forward to each performance as to a great holiday. The students of the senior forms recite Shakespeare’s sonnets & stage scenes from his plays. It’s really worth seeing.

Besides, some new traditions have been recently born: the celebration of Christmas & St.Valentine’s Day. We visit the junior groups & tell them how these holidays are celebrated in English-speaking countries.

Also, there are a lot of out-of-class activities such as participating in an arts club, a theatre studio and different sport sections. But one of the best-loved activities of our schoolchildren is going on hikes in autumn & in spring. Camping, going in for sports on the bank of the river bring us much pleasure & impressions. We enjoy every minute of it.

Speaking about my school I can’t but mention about my classmates. Most of them are polite, friendly & always willing to help. I’m on good terms with my teachers & classmates and I eagerly spend much time with them.

And in conclusion I’d like to say that I am proud of being a student of such a great school with interesting traditions, professional teachers and classmates who are easy to get along with.
