The Environmental Problems & Rules

Nowadays there are many environmental problems in the world such as global warming, the greenhouse effect, polluted rivers, seas & oceans; the shortage of natural resources; dirty atmosphere; destroying rainforests & many others.

But, to my mind, keeping our planet clean is not very difficult when everybody follows the environmental rules.

Firstly, if people use only unleaded petrol & don’t let factories pollute the air, the atmosphere will be cleaner.

Secondly, unless humans poison rivers, seas & oceans and destroy rainforests, fewer fish will die & rare plants & endangered species of animals will survive.

Also, if we recycle paper, glass, plastic and aluminum cans, we will save important natural resources.

Besides, we should take care of cities & countryside.  People shouldn’t drop litter in the streets or leave their rubbish behind after picnics. They should take it home in a bag. And the council should provide bins.

Moreover, we mustn’t burn autumn leaves & rubbish because it makes the pollution worse. We can also save energy using less electricity, gas & water.

All in all, there are many ways to help protect our environment & I believe everybody should take part in it. Because you know what they say – if you are not a part of the solution, then you are a part of the problem.
